Council of Ministers praises Abu Ghaush achievement in Rio

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday praised the “distinguished” achievement of Jordanian taekwondo player Ahmad Abu Ghaush in the Rio 2016 Games, as he won Jordan’s first ever Olympic medal, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Abu Ghaush won the gold medal in the taekwondo -68kg event on Friday (Amman time), after beating Russia’s Alexey Denisenko 10-6 in Brazil.
