AMMAN — Qusai, a Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) initiative, on Tuesday held its second educational course for 2020 via videoconference on the topic of cerebral concussions among athletes.
The Qusai initiative, which is being implemented in partnership with the Jordan Olympic Committee, saw the participation of 22 sports physical therapists in the course, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The initiative will continue to hold courses via videoconference to adhere to social distancing measures during the COVID-19 crisis. The initiative was launched in 2014 in memory of footballer Qusai Khawaldeh who lost his life due to an unfortunate medical incident while on the playing field.
It aims at enhancing methods and expanding resources for training sports therapists on and off the field, Petra reported.
