Crown Prince condoles family of martyr Khdeirat, visits injured army personnel

AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Monday extended condolences to the family of martyr Captain Mohammad Khdeirat, who was killed in the line of duty early Sunday morning.
During a visit to Deir Al Saaneh village in Irbid Governorate, Crown Prince Hussein expressed condolences to the family of the martyr and voiced pride in the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs, who gave their lives to protect Jordan, according to a Royal Court statement.
His Royal Highness also visited the three Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army personnel receiving treatment at the King Hussein Medical Centre after they were injured in the line of duty in the same incident, and wished them a full and speedy recovery.
Captain Khdeirat was killed and his fellow officers were injured while engaging a group of smugglers on the Kingdom's northeastern border on Sunday morning.
