Crown Prince congratulates HTU scholarship recipients

AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Tuesday expressed congratulations to students from various governorates, who have been awarded the “King Abdullah II Technical Education Scholarship” at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), a Crown Prince Foundation initiative.
Speaking at a virtual meeting with the students, Crown Prince Hussein said the future of the labour market lies in technical specialties, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The programme, launched by His Royal Highness to mark His Majesty King Abdullah’s 58th birthday, offers 50 scholarships at HTU in computer science and informatics to students from across Jordan’s governorates, to empower and prepare them for the labour market.
The scholarships cover the tuition fees of a technical degree, in addition to the cost of textbooks and laptops.
