Crown Prince visits Jordan TV on its 54th anniversary

AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Tuesday visited the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTC), on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the establishment of Jordan Television.
During the visit, Crown Prince Hussein congratulated JRTC staff, commending their efforts and professionalism, according to a Royal Court statement.
Touring the Jordan Television premises, His Royal Highness highlighted the need to keep up with digital media trends, diversify content, and reduce focus on traditional topics, stressing the important role of Jordan Television in spreading positive messages and providing correct information.
The Crown Prince listened to a briefing from JRTC Chairman Ghaith Tarawneh and JRTC Director General Mohammad Balqar, attended by Minister of State for Media Affairs Faisal Shboul, on future plans for developing the corporation, and expanding its reach to all segments of society.
His Royal Highness was also briefed on plans for building the JRTC’s capacities in digital media.
