Customs agents foil attempts to smuggle illegal medicine, supplements

AMMAN — Jordan Customs Department’s (JCD) anti-smuggling personnel on Tuesday foiled an attempt to smuggle 25,678 pills of illegal medicine, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Searching parcels and luggage at the Queen Alia International Airport, JCD personnel found the drugs and referred the case to the concerned agencies.
Also on Tuesday, the JCD said that its cadres foiled another attempt to smuggle 200kg of food supplements hidden in travellers’ luggage.
