Customs department foils bid to smuggle chocolate, nuts

AMMAN — The Jordan Customs Department (JCD) personnel have foiled an attempt to smuggle 4 tonnes of chocolate and nuts at the Dead Sea highway, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday. The items were found hidden in a trash compactor and were confiscated after JCD personnel had received information about the smuggling.
