Defendants in drug case plead ‘not guilty’

AMMAN — Six people charged with importing, trafficking, selling and being in possession of drugs pleaded not guilty during their opening trial at the State Security Court (SSC) on Sunday.
The suspects, who were arrested in May, are charged with collaborating with international gangs.
The SSC will start hearing the testimonies of 17 prosecution witnesses next week.
