Deputising for King, Crown Prince condoles families of fallen GID officers

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Tuesday offered his condolences to the families of three of the five General Intelligence Department (GID) personnel who were killed early Monday in an attack on the department's office near Baqaa Palestinian refugee camp, north of Amman.
The Crown Prince, accompanied by Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, offered his condolences to the families of Corporal Omar Hiyari, Lance Corporal Mahmoud Awamleh and Corporal Hani Qaaideh.
Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Tuesday offered his condolences to the family of Sergeant Loay Zyoud in Gharisa town in Zarqa, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Also on Tuesday, Mulki visited the condolence houses of the Hiyari, Harahsheh and Awamleh tribes to express condolences over the death of Hiyari, Awamleh and Private Ahmad Harahsheh.
On Monday, Mulki offered his condolences to the family of Corporal Hani Qaaideh in Theiban District to the west of Madaba.
Mulki also checked on Sergeant Ahmad Adwan, who was shot and wounded while he and his village people in Suleihi arrested the suspect, who was hiding in a mosque in the area.
