Deputy PM checks on condition of injured school principal

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Minister of Education Mohammad Thneibat on Tuesday followed up on an assault against a school principal in Zarqa and stressed the ministry’s keenness to protect teachers.
Thneibat telephoned the principal, who was attacked in the school where she works, and checked on her condition, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister asked Central Zarqa Education Director Mohammad Wahidi to visit the principal at Zarqa Hospital, and instructed the ministry’s legal department to file a complaint against the perpetrators. Wahidi visited the principal later in the day.
