Digital Transformation Jordan Conference to kick off March 6

AMMAN — The third Digital Transformation Jordan Conference to explore the use of advanced next-gen technology and global trends for the country’s future digital transformation will be held on March 6 and 7 in Amman.

The conference, under the endorsement of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship will take place at The Ritz Carlton Hotel & Residences, Amman.

The two-day event is an annual meeting point for Jordan’s senior government decision makers, industry leaders, leading international technology consultants and digital experts to share their experience and knowledge to help drive digital transformation forward, according to a statement from the organisers.

In-depth discussions at the conference will focus on the integration of advanced and emerging technologies in Jordan using artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, blockchain and the key role of cyber security in ensuring a successful digitalisation in the country. The conference will also highlight the importance of machine learning and automation adoption in digital services.

The 2023 edition of Digital Transformation Jordan will be attended by senior government officials, digitalisation leaders, project owners and emerging technology experts discussing the future of digital transformation and current global trends.

Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmad Al Hanandeh said: “We are keen to modernise IT projects in Jordan and address e-government projects across governmental agencies to keep pace with the progress of digital transformation innovations that improve the delivery of government services and enhances the efficiency of government performance. We also hope to strengthen the country’s digital transformation by encouraging more local IT talent to be part of the digitisation process. Conferences like the Digital Transformation Jordan is ideal to discuss opportunities for cooperation with experts to enhance the nation’s digital transformation ecosystem.”

Belal Hafnawi, commissioner and board member, Jordan Telecommunication, said: “Jordan is paving the way toward massive digital transformations which will be reflected definitely on growth of digital economy in different verticals. Business model changing has been started in different sectors including and not limited to technology, fintech, education, agriculture, industry, health, and others. Introducing 5G in Jordan will enhance the digital infrastructure which be an enabler for innovation and entrepreneurship.”

With technical workshops, fireside chats and interactive roundtable discussions, the conference offers a platform for Jordan’s digitalisation stakeholders and ICT experts, game changers, and leading international solution providers and consultants to discuss the latest plans and innovations in the country’s digital transformation journey, global best practices, and innovative solutions to overcome challenges faced in achieving a successful and secure digitalisation.

More than 30 experts from over ten countries, several ministries and industries will brainstorm on new ideas and discuss the roadmap for the future of digital transformation of the country to over 300 attendees and over 150 decision makers at the conference.

This event will discuss the latest developments and best practices to improve operational efficiency to help transform Jordan’s digital society and economy through digital transformation.
