AMMAN — Domestic revenues in January reached JD760.7 million, marking an increase of 26.4 per cent, compared with the same month of the previous year, the Finance Ministry announced on Wednesday.
This rise in local revenues was driven by an augmentation in tax revenues by approximately JD20.5 million and an increase in non-tax revenues by nearly JD5.8 million, compared with the same period of 2023, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, citing the ministry’s monthly bulletin.
The figures also showed that local revenues accounted for 105.7 per cent of current expenditures.
