Drug smuggling attempt foiled at Jaber border crossing

AMMAN — Jordan Customs Department (JCD) personnel at Jaber border crossing have foiled an attempt to smuggle 72.5 kilogrammes of Captagon. The JCD said that its personnel suspected a truck coming from a neighbouring country and was sent to an X-ray inspection that discovered Captagon pills hidden in "a technical way" in a special place that was made for the purpose of smuggling the drugs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
