Eager Lion Drill 2024 Preliminary Planning Conference concludes in Amman

AMMAN — The Eager Lion Drill 2024 Preliminary Planning Conference concluded in Amman on Thursday with the participation of Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) officers and representatives from participating countries.  

The drill is scheduled for 12-23 May. The main objective of the meeting was to review the general framework and objectives of the drill, with an emphasis on operational coordination between the participating forces, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. 

Since 2011, the Eager Lion Drill has been an important internal component of JAF's training domains. 

The exercise includes various land, air and naval weapons, as well as the involvement of various crisis management institutions, ministries and security agencies.
