Eager Lion drill conducted at Al Hussein Medical Centre

AMMAN — As part of the “Eager Lion 2016” training, the Royal Medical Services (RMS), in cooperation with the Public Security Department and the Civil Defence Department, on Saturday conducted an evacuation drill at Al Hussein Medical Centre, a Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army statement said.
During the drill, attended by RMS Director General Maj. Gen. Muin Habashneh, a simulation of an explosion in a warehouse resulting in the injury of several people was conducted.
The exercise aimed at testing the readiness of bodies participating in the drill to deal with urgent group injuries and to conduct a medical evacuation under similar conditions.
