Education minister visits Tawjihi halls in Aqaba

AMMAN — Minister of Education Mohammad Abu Qudais on Saturday checked on the progress of Tawjihi (the General Secondary Certificate Examination) as 99,540 sat for the exam on the sixth day of the examination session.
During an inspection tour in Aqaba, 330km south of Amman, the minister spoke with a number of students about the exams and listened to their remarks.
He commended the level of preparedness, notably the availability of air conditioning and water amid the prevailing weather conditions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The tour included Abu Baker School, as well as Eighth School for Boys and Eighth School for Girls.
