Eid prompts more rigorous JFDA inspections

AMMAN — The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) will intensify its inspection campaigns during Eid Al Fitr holiday, which starts on Monday, the director of JFDA’s inspection department, Mohammad Khreisha, said Saturday.
The inspection teams will pay field visits to food outlets from 9am to 12am during Eid to ensure they abide by public health and safety standards, Khreisha said.
He called on the public to report any violation by calling 0800022660.
