AMMAN — Independent Election Commission’s (IEC) Chairman Khaled Kalaldeh on Tuesday commended the “advanced” partnership among electoral institutions.
Speaking to the media at the IEC’s headquarters, Kalaldeh pointed out that the commission had recently held a workshop for members of the Afghan election commission, which indicates that Jordan is qualified for international accreditation in the electoral field, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He stressed that the commission is conducting periodic training for its staff covering all election-related procedures, highlighting that many IEC members are listed as international election observers or experts. The chairman also noted that the commission has updated the voters' records.
