Emirates Red Crescent distributes aid to underprivileged families, refugees in Zarqa

AMMAN — The Emirates Red Crescent, in cooperation with a number of charities in Azraq District in Zarqa, on Wednesday distributed aid to a number of underprivileged families and Syrian refugees residing in the district, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The campaign came as part of a tour of the official UAE delegation visiting Jordan, with the aim of providing support.
The tour included a visit to the Azraq Women's Association, during which the delegation met with the association’s administrators and was briefed on the activities it implements to support families in need, especially Syrian refugees.
The head of the delegation, Mohammad Shammari, expressed thanks to Jordan for hosting and supporting Syrian refugees.
