AMMAN — Ruwwad Al Tanmeya, a non-profit community empowerment organisation, is holding its third annual “Bayt Silsal at Ruwwad” exhibition, which opened on Saturday and will continue until June 6, according to a Ruwwad statement released Sunday.
The exhibition, titled “Bustan” and hosted by Nabad Art Gallery, showcases clay pots created by 16 young people with disabilities over the past five months.
Rula Atalla, a Jordanian artist, established Bayt Silsal in 2006 in partnership with Ruwwad Al Tanmeya at their main centre in Jabal Al Natheef, initially with the enrolment of two young boys with disabilities, the statement said.
“Ruwwad Al Tanmeya is a nonprofit community empowerment organisation that helps disadvantaged communities overcome marginalisation through youth activism, civic engagement and education.”
