Fakoury sworn in before the Senate

AMMAN — Newly appointed Senator Imad Fakhoury was sworn in before the Senate on Monday, in pursuance of the Constitution.
During its session, chaired by Senate President Abdur-Ra’uf S. Rawabdeh, Senate members approved Fakoury’s request to join the Senate’s legal, energy and mineral resources, and tourism and heritage committees.
During the meeting, the senators also decided that they needed more time to further examine the code of conduct draft in order to endorse it.
