Fayez, Norwegian ambassador talk ties, region

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez and Norwegian Ambassador in Amman Espen Lindback on Tuesday discussed means to further enhance Jordanian-Norwegian relations in various fields, especially at the political and economic levels.
During the meeting, Fayez called for increasing Norwegian investments in Jordan, mainly in the water, tourism and clean energy generation projects, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also highlighted Jordan's unaltered stance towards regional issues and efforts exerted to resolve conflicts and reach peace and stability. The meeting also went over the latest developments in the Middle East, mainly the Palestinian cause and the Syrian crisis.
Lindback praised Jordan's key role, led by His Majesty King Abdullah, to achieve security and stability in the region, expressing his country's pride in the Jordanian-Norwegian relations.
