Former chairman of local company detained over suspected violations

AMMAN — The Anti-Corruption Commission prosecutor general on Tuesday ordered the detention of Fayez Faouri for two weeks at Juweideh Correctional and Rehabilitation Centre, pending investigation into financial violations.
An ACC official said the decision was taken due to suspected commercial violations that Faouri reportedly committed while he was chairman of Al Ahlia Enterprises.
