Former minister Jammoh passes away

AMMAN — Former minister Abdul Baqi Jammoh died on Wednesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour paid tribute to Jammoh, commending his efforts in the service of Jordan.
Born in Zarqa in 1924, Jammoh served as a Lower House deputy several times, and was also minister of state for parliamentary affairs (1989-1991), minister of state for legal and parliamentary affairs (1994-1995), and a senator (1997).
He was also awarded the Kawkab Order of the Second Class.
