Forum to encourage partnerships between private, vocational sectors

AMMAN — The “regional forum on policies of enhancing institutional partnership between the private sector and vocational training centres in Arab countries” opened on Sunday at the National Centre for Human Resources Development (NCHRD).
Deputising for HRH Prince Hassan, NCHRD President Abdullah Ababneh inaugurated the three-day forum, where discussions will cover partnership between providers of vocational training and the private sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Some 30 Jordanian and Arab experts, representing vocational training institutions and the private sector, are taking part in the event, which is co-organised by the UNESCO’s International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
