‘Four dead, 66 injured in Wednesday accidents’

AMMAN — Four people died and 66 were injured in 206 accidents and fires across the Kingdom on Wednesday, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said on Thursday.
In one incident, two children drowned after falling in a cess pool in Amman, the CDD said in a statement.
In Jerash, one man died and three people were injured when a minivan crashed, the CDD said. CDD cadres also attended to a two-vehicle collision in Balqa, in which nine people were injured.
In the capital, CDD personnel extinguished a fire in a wood storage facility, the statement said.
