Freihat meets with national parties’ leaders over JAF’s duties

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Wednesday met a delegation of the coalition of national parties on main duties of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF).
Freihat briefed the visiting delegation about the tasks of the JAF, including dealing with security threats and foiling terrorists’ infiltration attempts and drug smuggling, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Members of the delegation expressed their appreciation for the JAF’s role in maintaining the security of the Kingdom.
