AMMAN — French Ambassador to Jordan Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison was briefed on the experiences of a group of trainees of the Business Development Centre’s "Tanmyah" vocational training project, which provides employment opportunities for participants at the Al Durra International Company for Food Industries.

The project was funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) as part of the Minka Regional Initiative, according to a BDC statement.

Irbid Mayor Radwan Al Utoum, Chairperson of Irbid Chamber of Industry Hani Abu-Hassan, representatives of the industrial sectors in Irbid and the management of the Al Durra factories were present.

The AFD and BDC are fulfilling private sector needs by improving the trainees’ employment opportunities through vocational training, the ambassador said.
