AMMAN — Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Thursday denied reports that Muath Bin Jabal Street had collapsed, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
GAM stressed that the road, parallel to Jabal Amman’s Rainbow Street, was closed for the erection of a private retaining wall which collapsed two months ago. The closure was implemented due to the narrow road not allowing the movement of traffic during the construction.
