GAM to keep public transport running during Eid holiday

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Monday announced that it is ready to deal with the increasing demand on public transport before and during the Eid Al Adha holiday.
Abdul Rahim Wreikat, head of the transport operations department at GAM, said the department has coordinated with transport companies to continue their services during the holiday, especially routes serving shopping centres and public parks.
He noted that the department will be available to receive complaints over the holiday at GAM’s emergency centre in Tlaa Al Ali on the toll-free line 080022241 during working hours and on 5359970 after working hours.
GAM also said that around 4,000 sanitation workers will be on duty during the Eid holiday.
