AMMAN — The Jordanian-Georgian Parliamentary Friendship Association, headed by MP Mustafa Yaghi, met with the Ambassador of Georgia to Jordan Zaza Kandilaiki on Wednesday to discuss developing ties at all levels.

Friendship between the two countries is the basis for the strong ties Jordan and Georgia enjoy, and these relations must be further cultivated, Yaghi stated.

Members of the association addressed the Kingdom’s unwavering position on Palestine as a cause not only for the region, but for the world.

Both the ambassador and the association reaffirmed the importance of Hashemite Custodianship over the Islamic and Christian holy sites in the occupied city of Jerusalem, as Kandilaiki noted that Georgia and Jordan see eye to eye on common causes.
