‘Gov’t to invest in human resources to enhance performance’

AMMAN — Public Sector Development Minister Khleef Al Khawaldeh on Thursday voiced the government’s keenness on investing in human resources to improve the performance of public institutions.
Attending a graduation ceremony for participants in the leadership empowerment programme at the Jordan Institute of Public Administration, Khawaldeh said the programme boosts public sector employees’ administrative and professional skills.
The four-week programme consisted of lectures, seminars and brainstorming sessions on leadership, strategic planning, problem solving and decision making, according to a ministry statement sent to The Jordan Times.
