AMMAN — A new by-law has been approved under Royal Directives for the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), modifying the IPA’s role in developing human resources, acting director general of the IPA Abdal Fattah Nsour said on Wednesday.
He said that a new governmental leadership centre will be established at the institute as part of the by-law, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The aim of the centre is to find people with the potential to face challenges using new methods, Nsour highlighted.
The centre aims to contribute to achieving His Majesty King Abdullah’s vision of improving public sector leaders’ performance.
The by-law will also help provide public-sector employees with the practical and theoretical knowledge to achieve their potential and contribute to the process of institutional development, the director general added.
