Gov't maintains ban on specific food commodities export, re-export

AMMAN — Industry, Trade and Supply Minister Yousef Shamali on Tuesday decided to maintain a decision banning the export and re-export of several food supply items, as part of procedures taken to preserve strategic reserves of foodstuff.
The decision is based on previous decisions made by the ministry in this regard, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The decision includes rice, sugar, powder milk, dried legumes, fodders, wheat and its products, flour, yellow corn, ghee and all types of vegetable oil.
