AMMAN — Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embaló on Monday visited the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre (KASOTC).
Accompanied by the Minister of Youth, Mohammad Nabulsi, President Sissoco Embaló was welcomed by Brig. Gen. Youssef Al Khateeb, Assistant for Planning, Organisation, and Defence Resources, and Director of the Centre Brig. Gen. Raed Dora, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
President Sissoco Embaló and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the KASOTC’s tasks and duties, the nature of its departments and facilities and the mechanisms of its work.
They also learned about the dogs training unit (K9), which is one-of-a-kind in the region in providing technical consultations and training K9 teams.
At the end of the tour, President Sissoco Embaló commended KASOTC, praising the centre's high level of professionalism and excellence in executing its assigned tasks.
