Hani Abu Shaar appointed as director of institutional policies department

AMMAN — In its session on Sunday chaired by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, the Cabinet appointed Hani Abu Shaar as Director of the Development of Institutional Performance and Policies Department, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Abu Shaar obtained the highest score among all of the position’s applicants in tests conducted by the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) and interviews conducted by the Ministerial Committee for Selection and Appointment of Leadership Positions.
Abu Shaar holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Jordan and began working at the CSB in 1999. He held several management-level positions in the Prime Ministry beginning in 2001.
Also on Sunday, the Cabinet decided to appoint Hussein Jbour as Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth and Imad Nejdawi as Commissioner of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission, Petra reported.
