Head of EU-Jordan House friendship committee meets Polish ambassador

AMMAN — Head of the Jordanian-European Parliamentary Friendship Committee MP Khaldoun Hina on Wednesday emphasised the importance of the Hashemite Custodianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, highlighting the Kingdom’s "unwavering" stance towards the Palestinian cause.
During a meeting with Polish Ambassador to Jordan Lucjan Karpinski, Hina emphasised the importance of Jordanian-Polish relations, calling for advancing economic partnerships. The Polish envoy stressed his country’s support for Jordan’s role towards the Palestinian cause.
The ambassador said that Polish-Jordanian ties have been "deep-rooted" since 1964, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. He also reviewed cooperation mechanisms with the Kingdom in the economic, commercial and water sectors, expressing his country’s support for Jordan’s anti-coronavirus efforts.
