Holding dialogue on elections bill responsibility of House — Kalaldeh

AMMAN — The government is not going to be the party that will run dialogues on the draft elections law, Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Khaled Kalaldeh said on Monday.
During a meeting with members of the National Union Party at the ministry’s headquarters, Kalaldeh said it is the Lower House which will carry out the task, adding that the government is ready to participate in the dialogues.
At the meeting, the party members said the public should have a chance to examine the proposed law, through media outlets, stressing that the party and its bloc stand by the government.
