House investment committee members meet Indonesian delegation

AMMAN — The Lower House's Economy and Investment Committee met Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan Ade Padmo Sarwono and an accompanying Indonesian senate budget affairs delegation on Monday.
The meeting discussed the challenges facing the Kingdom, notably the high public debt and the large budget deficit due to the increased cost of receiving the arrivals of refugees, the latest being 1.3 million Syrian refugees.
The envoy reiterated Indonesia's support for His Majesty King Abdullah's stances towards the Palestinian cause and the Hashemite Custodianship over Jerusalem's Islamic and Christian holy sites, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In addition, on Wednesday, the members of Senate's Finance and Economy Committee met the Indonesian envoy and the accompanying delegation and discussed ways to boost parliamentary cooperation between the nations.
