HRH Prince Feisal wins Arab Sport Culture Figure of 2022 award

AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal was awarded by The Arab Sport Culture Association with the Arab Sport Culture Figure of 2022. The award was received on his behalf by Khalid Al Attiyat, deputy chairman of the Jordanian Olympic Committee (JOC), during an Amman-held ceremony organised by the association, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.

The title is given to figures offering "unique contributions in sports to the whole of humanity". The award takes into consideration sports and arts advocacy, and use of dialogue to provide spaces to engage future generations in change-making. Prince Feisal is the president of the JOC, and a member of the International Olympic Committee.

He is also the founder and chairman of the Generations for Peace organisation, which aims to establish a culture of peace in the world, in order to build sustainable peace and empower volunteer youth leaders to spread a culture of tolerance in their communities and to enhance the concept of citizenship.
