Huneiti visits Sixth Mechanised Royal Guard Battalion

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday highlighted the importance of exerting maximum efforts to safeguard the homeland and unity against whoever attempts to tamper with the Kingdom’s security and stability.
Visiting the Sixth Mechanised Royal Guard Battalion, one of the units of the Eastern Military Zone, Hunieti said that the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) is moving forward in conducting its duties, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday.
The army chief listened to a briefing from the commander of the unit on its functions and training, in addition to its future plans. Huneiti also attended a drill by the battalion simulating real-case scenarios, such as border infiltration and smuggling.
He also conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of JAF, to the personnel of the unit.
