Indian embassy to celebrate ITEC Tuesday

AMMAN — The Indian embassy in Jordan will celebrate the Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme on Tuesday, according to an embassy statement. The event, to be attended by Minister of State for Investment Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh, will bring together ITEC alumni from Jordan, who have received training in India.
Under India’s ITEC programme, candidates from Jordan are sent for training courses to various institutions in India, the statement said.
This year, 50 slots are allotted to Jordanian citizens, aged between 25 to 45 years who should meet the eligibility criteria for the training programme they wish to apply to, according to the statement. Details are available on the website http://itec.mea.gov.in.
