Interfaith centre, Caritas Jordan celebrate Christmas, New Year

AMMAN — The Jordan Interfaith Coexistence Research Centre in cooperation with Caritas Jordan on Saturday held its annual celebration on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year at the Greek Catholic Church. Senate President Faisal Fayez, who inaugurated the ceremony, highlighted the unity and harmony among Muslims and Christians in Jordan, noting his rejection of any acts that may harm the Jordanian national fabric.
The centre’s director, Father Nabil Haddad, voiced his appreciation for His Majesty King Abdullah's leadership, which sets an example in the relationship among the followers of the two religions in the Kingdom, spreading coexistence values and mutual respect.
