Interfaith research centre calls for confronting extremism

AMMAN — The Jordan Interfaith Coexistence Research Centre (JICRC) on Tuesday called for speedy action to confront religions extremism in the region.
The JICRC called for Islamic, Arab and international action to face the repercussions of the current suffering of Christians and other components of the Arab community.
JICRC Director Father Nabil Haddad stressed the importance of continued co-existence and noted that this should remain the main characteristic of relations between Christians and Muslims.
