Interior Ministry launches three e-services

AMMAN — The Interior Ministry on Thursday launched three electronic services related to medical and tourism visas and cancelling a deportation decision.
During the launch ceremony, Interior Minister Salameh Hammad said that these services, which fall under the ministry’s nationality and foreign and investment affairs department, aim at facilitating procedures, controlling expenditures and providing the best services to citizens and foreigners, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Minister of State for Institutional Performance Development Yasera Ghosheh said that cooperation among all stakeholders will help realise a “digital Jordan”, praising the Interior Ministry’s efforts in shifting to electronic services. Yassin Husban, director of ICT and electronic transformation for the Interior Ministry, noted that the progress of the ministry’s e-transformation currently stands at 76 per cent, adding that full e-transformation is scheduled to be completed within this year.
