Investment minister meets Omani ambassador

AMMAN — Minister of Investment Kholoud Saqqaf on Sunday met with Oman's Ambassador to Jordan Hilal Al Mumari to discuss bolstering bilateral investment cooperation.
During the meeting, Saqqaf highlighted the "solidity" of bilateral ties binding the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Saqqaf referred to tangible improvements in the Kingdom's most important economic indicators, the latest of which is Jordan’s increasing of its long-term sovereign credit rating, according to the global credit rating agency, Moody's.
Mumari affirmed the “solidity” of Jordan-Oman relations, especially in regard to economic cooperation, stressing his country's keenness to develop them in service of common interests. The volume of Omani investments in Jordan amounted to $56 million, distributed over many investment sectors.
