The duties of the Military Media Directorate, the JAF’s official spokesbody, include covering military news and activities, besides maintaining communication with local media platforms, featuring the armed forces' development roles and enhancing social values in coordination with the ministries and public institutions.
The move came to realise the Royal vision related to the importance of the media role in development and serving the national interests. The directorate was established in 1968 under the name Moral Guidance Department, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
