AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Monday equipped Madaba’s Al Nadim Hospital with a mobile field hospital, a move aimed to increase the capacity of Health Ministry’s hospitals to effectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The dispatching of the mobile field hospital, equipped with several beds and ICU units to offer care for COVID-19 patients, came to support the health sector and strengthen its capacity to mitigate the negative effects of the pandemic, amid the rising number of coronavirus infections and deaths, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The JAF had equipped Salt and Karak public hospitals with two mobile field hospitals, as per Royal directives towards supporting the health sector to protect public health, security and safety, Petra added.
