AMMAN — The Hashemite Fund for the Development of the Jordan Badia (HFDJB) on Friday held the third Jameed and Ghee Festival. Thirty charitable societies specialised in making dairy products participated, with the aim of promoting their products throughout the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
President of the HFDJB board of trustees Sharifa Zein Bint Nasser commended the women who produced the products, which she described as connected to the lives of all Jordanians and a part of the preservation of Jordan’s cultural heritage, as well as a way to improve the economic conditions of their families. The event this year was held at the King Hussein Park in Amman.
