JBA to hold Int’l Conference for French-speaking business owners on May 15-16

AMMAN — The Jordan Businessmen Association (JBA) will organise the fourth International Conference for French-speaking business owners on May 15 and 16, JBA President Hamdi Tabbaa said on Saturday, inviting association members to participate.
During the annual general assembly meeting, Tabbaa said that the presence of a group of businesspeople representing the most important sectors of the economy with significant added value, brings an advantage to the association, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The general assembly discussed several topics on the agenda, including the board of directors' report on the association's activities for the year 2022, listening to the legal auditor's report and approving the financial statements for 2022. They also elected a legal auditor for the financial year 2023 from outside the council.
The assembly also discussed approving the action plan and the estimated budget for the year 2023, approving the internal financial regulations of the JBA, as well as approving the internal regulations for supplies and works in the association.
